FERTILIZER PLANT HYDROGEN TRANSFER LINE AND OUTLET MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT

REBL was contracted by a major fertilizer producer to provide refractory engineering support and quality assurance services during the design and fabrication of a new hydrogen service outlet manifold and transfer line system.

Over the course of a year, REBL was involved as the client’s refractory consultant in the design of the system with the OEM, considering all aspects of refractory design, and incorporating site-specific details to ensure that the on-site installation of the components goes smoothly.

During the fabrication of the components at the OEM’s US-based vendor, REBL provided QA and inspection services as the client’s representative, ensuring refractory installation was conducted according to execution procedure and ITPs.

During the on-site installation of the newly fabricated components, REBL was present for the entire turnaround, providing refractory inspection services, refractory consulting, and QA for all capital and maintenance activities.
