FCCU Planned Turnaround

REBL provided refractory inspection and QA services during an intensive FCCU plant turnaround, requiring work in many areas of the plant. Along with the client’s inspection personnel and Refractory SME, REBL was part of a team that carried out initial inspections and prepared work scope. REBL’s QA personnel followed all refractory repairs from tear-out to dry-out, and prepared extensive documentation throughout the turnaround. Pre-qualification of personnel and materials was also carried out prior to the start of any repair work.

During this turnaround, REBL brought its mobile laboratory to site, providing on-site material laboratory testing, eliminating the cost of refractory sample freight and ensuring a fast turnaround time on refractory testing results.
